During my recent weekend stay at Hotel GTM Plaza in Tbilisi, I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful balance of comfort and practicality this 3-star hotel provides. Situated about a 15-minute walk from Isani Metro Station, it offers great accessibility to the city center, although I wish it was closer to some of the historical gems I adore. The rooms are equipped with essential amenities such as free WiFi, a minibar, and comfortable beds—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I particularly appreciated the charming balcony where I could sip my morning coffee while taking in some sun. There is a restaurant on-site where breakfast was served, complete with a solid variety of options—a good start to the day, though I found myself hoping for a bit more in terms of local meats to truly channel the essence of Georgian cuisine. The 24-hour front desk was a big plus, as I always appreciate the ability to roam around and then easily check in at any hour. Given my penchant for exploring places historically and my role as a history teacher, I found myself wishing the hotel’s surroundings were a bit more vibrant, but for comfort and convenience, GTM Plaza indeed made the stay enjoyable.
